Chow Mein Noodles with Chicken

This quick and easy Chow Mein Noodles with Chicken recipe is perfect for busy weeknights. Made with ramen noodles, tender chicken, and a savory sauce, this dish is both flavorful and satisfying.

Ingredients:

  • 5 packets of ramen noodles seasoning packet discarded
  • 1 pound chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 10 oz package shredded cabbage
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 3 teaspoons sesame oil

Directions:

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook ramen according to the time on the package. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil, swirling to coat.
  3. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Add to the pan and cook for 2-4 minutes until browned. Add onions and cabbage, mix together, and cook for 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  4. In a bowl, mix together garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Pour into the skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened slightly.
  5. Stir in cooked noodles until well combined. Serve immediately.
